The parents had recently retired. The mother had always wanted to learn to play the piano, so Dad bought her one for her birthday. A few weeks later we asked how she was doing with it.
"Oh, we returned the piano" dad replied. "I persuaded her to switch to the clarinet." Why we asked. "Because he answered, with a clarinet, she can't sing!"

Our classmate, Robert 'Bob' Lyndon lives in Plano, Texas in an assisted-living facility. His loving wife Nancy would like to acquire some early photographs of him. Bob was born in 1932 and won't be 78 until November. He was raised by his grandmother and no one knows what happened to any of her photographs after she died when he was a teenager.
Whatever type of photo that you might have, wherever it might have been taken would be appreciated. Nancy is trying to put together ap pictorial history to share with Bob.
Please forward or send any you might have, to me at 1806 Dairy lane, Grand Haven, MI. 49417 and I'll see that Nancy Receives them. Thank you.
